I'm so excited to have launched my own journaling product range with CraftStash. It's an absolute dream come true, to work with a wonderful team of people that are bringing my designs to life.
We first started talking earlier this year, about the possibility of me becoming one of their co-brand designers. It was a whole new experience for me, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect.
I started off by putting together some mood boards for the "feel" that I would like my product range to have. I then created some initial designs and we arranged a Skype call so that any questions could be ironed out with their design team.
Once all the details were clarified, I carried on creating lots more designs and submitted them to the CraftStash team.
In May, I got the opportunity to fly to beautiful Manchester and meet with the design team in person. I had to get up at 4am, so I was extremely thankful for a lovely sunny day.
I arrived in the CraftStash offices just after 8am, feeling pretty nervous. But, they immediately put me at ease and it was a wonderful experience to talk through my ideas, discuss future products and feel part of a wonderful team.
We then did some filming ...
I was pretty nervous, but thankfully Janette was an absolute pro and put me completely at ease. Well, as at ease as I can be in front of a camera! I then had my photos taken and completed an interview for their blog. It was a full on and long day, but I loved every minute of it.
Today, it is finally launch day! I find it really hard keeping secrets, so it's great being able to talk about it and share my range with you. I'm so happy with the products and that I've been able to design a range that I know I will love using in my own journals.
You can find details of all the products available in this first journaling product range, over in my shop.
You can watch a video showcasing my products in use here.
I really hope that you are excited to check them out and have enjoyed hearing a little about the process. If you use my products and post photos on Instagram, please do tag me in. I would absolutely love to see and share your creations.
Thank you very much. I'm really excited! xx
So exciting, well done. so proud of you.
